Over 75 years ago, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066. Japanese-American citizens were ordered to report to assembly centers established by the United States government. Months later they were sent to internment camps in desolate areas of the country. Beyond Barbed Wire is the story of a teenage Japanese-American citizen interned at Heart Mountain internment camp in Wyoming.
